How To Use the SPE Online Technical Library

Members

1. If not already logged in, log in to the SPE website.
2. Enter your SPE USER ID (refer to your SPE membership card) and PASSWORD. You will be directed to your personalized members-only page.
3. Select Online Technical Library from the Featured Benefits list.
4. Click on “Search the Library Now” and enter your search phrase, then select your article choice from the search results to see an abstract of the article.
5. NOTE: To view/download the entire article, an additional, separate login is required. For this separate login, your ID number is your SPE member ID number; and under “password,” type your last name.

Nonmembers

1. If not already logged in, log in to the SPE website, using your SPE USER ID and PASSWORD. If you are new to the site, you will need to create an account.
2. Select Online Technical Library from the Featured Benefits list.
3. Click on “Search the Library Now” and enter your search phrase, then select your article choice from the search results to see an abstract of the article.
4. To view/download the entire article, you must be an SPE member.
